Introduction of Cooling Roller:
Presently, the internal design of cooling rollers used in the production of bi-oriented stretch films can be classified into two main types: the double-layer single-flow arrangement and the double-layer double-flow configuration. Inside these rollers, the commonly used mediums are either water or heat transfer oil. These two kinds of cooling rollers differ not only in their internal build but also in the fabrication methods, and both aspects have a substantial impact on the overall production expenditures.
- Internal structure of the double-layer single-flow cooling roller: This type of cooling roller for bi-oriented stretch films consists of an outer shell, an inner shell, and a spiral baffle attached to the inner shell. The working medium, be it water or thermal oil, enters the internal single-flow heat transfer channel through a pipeline. It then traverses to the opposite side wall, effectively dissipating heat to fulfill the cooling objective.
- Internal structure of the double-layer double-flow cooling roller: Comprising an outer shell, an inner shell, and a spiral baffle on the inner shell, this model of cooling roller for bi-oriented stretch films stands apart from the former. It utilizes a double-layer double-flow heat transfer mechanism. Water or thermal oil flows from the pipeline into the heat transfer channels through the internal dual paths. This design offers higher heat transfer efficiency, yet it comes with a more intricate production process and consequently, a higher cost.
